China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center P3/P4 Jie Hao provides high-level biosafety laboratory equipment
Shanghai Jiehao provides high-level biosafety laboratory equipment for China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center P3/P4
Project Background
China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center is a national institution focused on animal disease prevention, control and research. In order to improve the biosafety level of the laboratory, the center chose to cooperate with Shanghai Jiehao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Jiehao") to provide key equipment such as mechanical airtight doors and airtight transfer windows.
Equipment provided by Shanghai Jie Hao
1. Mechanical airtight door: The mechanical airtight door provided by Shanghai Jiehao adopts advanced mechanical compression and sealing technology to ensure a strict seal between the door and the door frame. This door is suitable for high-level biosafety laboratories, such as BSL-3, BSL-4, and other environments that require high air tightness. The design of the door meets the requirements of "Biosafety Laboratory Building Technical Code" GB 50346-2011, ensuring the effectiveness of the primary barrier and the secondary barrier of the biosafety laboratory.
2. Airtight transfer window: The transfer window is an important equipment for safe transfer of articles in the laboratory. The airtight transfer window provided by Shanghai Jiehao adopts a mechanical compression sealing method and is designed with VHP disinfection interface and other characteristics. It can be externally connected with a hydrogen peroxide disinfection machine to sterilize articles in the cavity, thus meeting the air tightness and disinfection requirements of high-level biosafety laboratories. Its performance parameters such as anti-pressure, air tightness, etc. have reached the industry-leading level.
Project Implementation
Shanghai Jiehao's engineer team worked closely with the center to ensure the precise installation and commissioning of all equipment. Our team not only provides high-quality products, but also provides comprehensive technical support and training to ensure that the center's staff can operate these equipment proficiently.

Choosing Shanghai Jiehao means choosing professional technical support and customized solutions to jointly build a safer and more efficient biosafety environment.
China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center (CAHEC) is a national animal health institution directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, with specifications at the bureau level. It is mainly responsible for epidemiological investigation, diagnosis and monitoring of major animal diseases, veterinary health assessment of animals and animal products, and research on animal health regulations and standards and technical measures for the prevention and control of major foreign animal diseases. The center plays an important role in animal disease prevention and control, veterinary health assessment, regulatory and standard research, and has extensive influence in the field of animal health at home and abroad.
Center is headquartered in Shibei District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It has two experimental bases, Hongdao and Zhejiang Central Mountain Island, and four sub-centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin and Lanzhou. The center also has a number of important animal health facilities, such as the National Center for Diagnosis of Exotic Animal Diseases, the National Center for Animal Epidemiology, the National Animal Serum Bank and the National Center for Preparation of Animal Disease Diagnostic Fluid. In addition, the center also has a number of reference laboratories recognized by international organizations, such as the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) African Swine Fever Reference Laboratory, Newcastle Disease Reference Laboratory, and Peste des petits ruminants Reference Laboratory.
In terms of international cooperation, the China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center has been recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as a reference center for veterinary epidemiology. This is the first FAO veterinary epidemiology reference center in the Asia-Pacific region and the first recognized FAO veterinary epidemiology reference center in a developing country, marking that China's research and application in the field of veterinary epidemiology has reached an international level.
